Forever 21 Launch Party
Wednesday was the night of the sexy LA themed Forever 21 launch party on Oxford Street.
The night was a super cute fun-fest of carousels, treat-filled beach huts and wigwams serving ice cold elderflower and prosecco cocktails.
Chicks on roller skates, skateboarders and Bip Ling on the decks made for magic.
Sozums for the crap mobile shots, my camera is on the blink.

I found a giant E and got a bit excited.
But undoubtedly my favourite part of the night was the mind-blowing hologram catwalk that appeared as 3D without a need for the dodgy glasses. The hologram girls and boys appeared from mind bending angles around the stage, upside down, vertical, even entering on invisible steps; all the while surrounded by flouro paint which splashed like rain.
This is the only video I could find of the catwalk, and obviously it doesn't really do it justice but you get the idea chickas.

Out Of This World
Pretty much blown away by Christopher Kane's 'Resort' collection which has followed on from 2010.
Although it's not new to me.
I loved it when it first surfaced last summer and it seems that it's not just me that thinks that the natural images of space are quite frankly more beautiful than any man made print. The high street aren't quite there yet, but there's a definite sense of using a photographed image as a pattern print without messing with it.

My last post lead me to some images of the lovely Bardot. That's a pair of lips I'd like to get my teeth around.

Pale Leather

Really nice to see all of the tough, black leathers of Winter '10 re-worked into creams and whites for this year.
May have to don this look earlier than Autumn, because if English weather is anything to go by, the freshness of the colour combined with the warmth of leather would be bang on the money for British summer and all the garden parties that go with it.

... I will wake up, found I have grown 9 inches and look like this. I better get cracking.
Until then I can dream in Victoria Secret <3
